About Medulla®

Medulla® — Medico Legal Reporting (MLR) Software for hospitals and doctors with a very easy-to-use graphical interface.

Installation Instructions

1. Run the setup file by clicking setup.exe.
2. Accept the license agreement and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. After Medulla is successfully installed, run the application from the desktop Medulla icon.
4. Follow the steps below to add a new user who will create reports.

User Setup (One-time Process)

1. Log in as root with password mlr. The Medulla Administrator profile is loaded. The root user has privileges only for system management such as adding users, taking backups, and restoring the database.
2. Go to Master Data on the main menu → click Master Data → Add User.
3. Select the radio button Yes to answer “Is user a doctor?”
4. Select employment status as Active from the dropdown list.
5. Fill in details such as first name, department, etc.
6. Choose an MLR Login ID that you can remember easily. This login ID will be used further to create MLRs/PMRs, etc.
7. After filling in the information, click the Add button. A message will confirm: “Login ID added successfully. Default password is: medulla”.
8. Please remember that the login ID and password are case sensitive.

This is a one-time process. You will not have to create a user every time. The system will identify you with the user ID you have just created. Close the application and restart. Now log in with the login ID you just created, using password medulla. After a successful login, you can create reports.
